We’re excited to officially announce Trine 6: Together in Time, a brand-new adventure coming to Steam, Epic Games Store, Nintendo Switch™ and Nintendo Switch 2™, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S on September 17, 2026!
Built around the idea that adventures are better together, Trine 6 is designed for solo play or 1–4 player co-op, both locally on the same couch or online.
Trine 6’s puzzles are designed with a co-op-first approach, encouraging players to work together, coordinate actions, and combine abilities to progress. Whether you’re solving perilous puzzles, combating cunning creatures, or executing perilous platforming, every player has a meaningful role to play.

Moira and Adrius are two young adventurers who find themselves in over their heads when a heist goes wrong, which accidentally ends up binding their fate to that of the realm’s greatest heroes: Amadeus, Zoya, and Pontius.
The new characters introduce two new playstyles and of course play an integral role in the game’s storyline.
We’ve also introduce the new Time Slow ability to give players a bit of extra control when it matters most. Slow down the world around you to help line up precise jumps, react to threats, dodge incoming attacks, or just provide some breathing room in the most chaotic moments.
We can’t wait to share more and are excited for you to get your hands on the game when it launches on September 17!

oh nice the next game in the series but also what about starbase have you forgotten about that game
Starbase is not forgotten, but it does need some action from our side.
When will the physical disc version be released? Also, where can I pre-order Trine 6 for PS5? Thanks
Oh, that’s a bit out of the blue, nice 🙂 Hope it comes to GOG too like the previous releases!
Exciting news cant wait.
Is Terry Wilton returning?
Yeah he’s back as the Narrator for Trine 6 as well! Due to some scheduling issues we didn’t get him booked in time for this trailer, but he will be in the game 🙂
Awesome to hear that.
Will this be a digital only release?
Oh wow! Can’t wait!
I’m just as surprised to see Trine 6 show up after Trine 5 did so very well! Love the series!
Great to hear the voices of Amadeus, Pontius, and Zoya return again! I give them, and Terry Wilton, my thanks to keeping their roles going, and my appreciation, from the bottom of my heart! This is surely to make it the more enriching and longer chapter to date!
I give the Heroes of Trine my utmost appreciation and respect for their actions so far! I don’t ever think them as “fossils”(they never are!), not like Adrian and Moira, the newcomers, treat them; rather, they’re rising legends in their own right of way.
At least, upping the playable hero roster will make 4-player co-op more enjoyable. The chosen Trine hero number doesn’t have to just stay at 3 all the time, as I felt and thought sometimes after playing through the games so far. Even they may need extra help when their hands are full now and then.
I feel worried, but will we still get to see Trine 4’s DLC, “Melody of Mystery” to consoles after all these constant delays? We’ve all been waiting too long for this. Hopefully, there will be a better, sharper focus on finally bringing the DLC to consoles after this. Been itching to play it for so long!
One other thing. I’m truly sorry about Trine 3’s situation about its development and unfortunate reception about the series’ formula’s shift to 3D gameplay, but I’m very hopeful for the story to actually have its solidified conclusion and our long-awaited final fight against the main villain, Sarek the Deathless, and finally get to save Trine’s sister, Rona, before anything else happens… that is, if there’s time for it to be updated into the “Complete Story” edition after Trine 6’s launch. No tale left untold and unresolved!
I hope you reply back to this.
What happened to the mechanics of the boxes in Amadeus? Is there no way to move them more freely?
The way the box-making mechanics were redesigned didn’t work well! Before, we could place them wherever we wanted, but now, this “chain” that holds the boxes together makes it harder to position them!
I’m really excited about Trine 6. When can I pre-order the P55 version and will it be on physical disc?😃🙏
