We’re attending Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki, with Splot finally on public display after a long wait! Our booth is located at the Indie Showcase area at the back of the venue. Gamescom is now over for this year, and it sure was exciting to be there. We got to reveal the Trine 2 expansion with a new trailer, and had a playable version at the steam booth. Last Thursday the Frozenbyte gang was honored with the “Best Artistic Achievement” award from the Nordic Game Awards. Visible on the top right and in the bottom pic. This makes two in total when we count our “Kyöpeli” statue standing proud right next to the plaque. The statue was voted earlier this year by the readers of the “Pelit” magazine here in Finland. Splot is our up and coming cartoony puzzle platformer, that will be out soon for a variety of systems. The game will run at a whopping 60fps on high end and still at a very playable 30-40fps on lower end devices. The mobile systems we have here are iPhone 4th Gen, iPod Touch 1st Gen, iPad 1st Gen, HTC Desire with Android and Nokia N900 with Maemo.
