Time for the second entry of Frozenbyte Yuletide Calendar 2017! A lot happened during this week. Nine Parchments was released, Finland celebrated its 100th birthday (grats!), and Frozenbyte turned 16 years old! Unfortunately we are going to keep it short this time due to Nine Parchments launch hustle. Not talking about Nine Parchments’ this time, but I want to quickly thank you all for your nice feedback and support. If you need any help with the game, don’t hesitate to contact us. You can find our contact information here. Today’s topic is Has-Been Heroes. I wanted to show you concept […]
It’s December already! Time really flies when you’re having fun, or if you just have a million things to do… anyway let’s go to the point! We know how much you guys loved our Christmas Calendar last year (or at least the chance to win codes for our games). Unfortunately at the moment the Support team, or make it the whole Frozenbyte company, is super busy with getting Nine Parchments ready. This is why we decided to go with quality over quantity this year, meaning that during December we will have a weekly Yuletide calendar instead. Our version will be […]
It’s time for a monthly report! As you may have guessed we have been quite busy with Nine Parchments and other projects. And no, we still don’t have news about the release date. So hang in there, we’ll tell you the date as soon as we have one! Meanwhile it’s good to check what we have been up to! 😊 Firstly we do have smaller news about Nine Parchments: Redonkulous Gaming released an interview that they had with our marketing lead. The interview is in two parts, so remember to read both. First part is about Frozenbyte in general, and […]
September cleared and it’s time for a Monthly Report! Yes, it was quite an achievement with the events. Below is what we have been up to, this time with many pictures! Firstly below are couple pictures from Seattle where we visited PAX West 2017 with Indie Megabooth. This event happened at the beginning of last month and we are happy to say that our booth was very busy. 🙂 Our booth at PAX before visitors got in! The right picture is from a pre-event. Click the pictures for a bigger view. After PAX our Marketing team got back to office […]
August was a busy month! A lot happened, especially compared to the few previous months. And from this, I bet the most exciting thing for many players was the moment when we announced that Amadeus is a playable character in Nine Parchments. How many of you saw this coming? 😉 Nine Parchments team probably had most of the pressure here with our QA team, as they prepared the game’s demo build to Gamescom and PAX West. Also our marketing team was super busy due to these events, below is a bit about their journey. First, three of our guys drove […]
A cold morning reminds that July is over, but let’s not give up on summer yet! There has luckily been some good sunny days as well and more to come! And a big thunder storm during the last weekend… but that’s just how summer works? Besides thunder it has still been quiet at the office due to holidays, but some of you might have noticed that we are getting ready for cool events! First we’ll be heading to Gamescom, held in Cologne, Germany from 22nd to 26th August. We’ll be showing Nine Parchments there, so make sure to join if […]
June has gone past and the summer vacation season is going! That means that there isn’t that much going on at the office at the moment but below are some highlights for you guys. And let’s start with that even though it’s summer, we’re actually still waiting for the summer weather, 15 Celsius degrees isn’t a summer on my scale. Regardless we did have a nice barbeque party which included soda and burgers. Unfortunately we have no pictures from the party as it was raining a bit, or support team might have been too busy eating the burgers. One of […]
It’s finally time for a new monthly update for May! 😊 First of all I’d like to mention that as said in our previous blog post about Nine Parchments, we’ll be showing the game in Magnology! This game and manga convention will be held in Hamburg, Germany from today, June 9th to 11th. So if you’re near the area, please stop by! In that same post we announced that the game will also land on Nintendo Switch later this year and revealed some other details. You can check the blog post and its announcement trailer from here. A new Nine […]
Sadly we were a bit too busy and our Support team also got hit by a flu. This made the Monthly Report to be a little late for April… but it’s here now! Yay! While Finland is getting closer to summer with truly hilarious weather (virally proven here), we are working to bring you some news fairly soon. What could it be? 😉 Otherwise work has proceeded quite peacefully, and yes we have still at least one patch coming to Has-Been Heroes. Look forward to it! We have also filled some of the Has-Been Heroes Gamepedia with wonderful volunteers (thanks!). […]
As the title says, our March was pretty much filled with Has-Been Heroes. I don’t know if you heard, but the game is now released worldwide. We have received a lot of feedback about the game, most of it has-been good. See what I did there? 😉 From below you can find a couple of pictures that are great choices for a desktop image! Remember to click them for a bigger view. We had a great launch party past Friday and food was of course an important part of the festivities. I’m getting hungry just thinking about the menu we […]
February came and went, how is it possible that it has only 2 or 3 days less than other months, but still it feels like a week shorter! Or maybe once again we have had so much stuff going on here at the office that time just flew out of the window. There hasn’t been anything as major going on in February as we didn’t have any big announcements this month, but still a lot happened here as summarised below. 🙂 Who wouldn’t want to start with food? The hearts are bread buns! You know the saying “an army marches […]
We were really happy with the amount of feedback we received regarding our Christmas calendar. So thank you all! And it’s why we decided that this year we’re going to be writing a monthly blog post telling you what’s going on here at Frozenbyte. We’ll be calling these Monthly Reports! Pretty creative, right? Sadly, we can’t list everything as that would probably be a long (and maybe even a bit dull) list. But let’s get to the point: what were we up to last month? 🙂 January was actually quite a busy month here at our office. The biggest thing […]
