I went to see Ari Pulkkinen at his office to talk about Trine 2 nominations at the upcoming European Games Award. He was very excited about the “Best Sound” nomination, and as usual wanted to show me some of his work. You can help out by voting for Trine 2 at: http://www.european-games-award.com/index.php/voting -Mikael
NVIDIA has done an awesome write up about the graphical qualities of T2. All of the possible options are tested out and shown in easy comparisons. Tons of material for all those that are interested in knowing more about the graphics capabilities of the game, but don’t necessarily want test out everything for themselves. Also some nice praise about the NVIDIA 3D Vision support, which we also think is pretty great, even after all of the hours we have already tested it. 🙂 The article is available here. -Mikael
Frozenbyte Ltd. and Focus Home Interactive have joined forces to publish the PC/Mac retail versions in the European Union. The release date for now is Q4, with more specific dates to follow soon. There will be a normal and a premium pack, the premium will include at least the OST made by Ari Pulkkinen and likely other goodies also. More info on the Focus website. The console side is published worldwide by Atlus and Frozenbyte is self publishing Steam and various other digital channels. -Mikael
Since Atlus will be demoing Trine 2 here at E3 in Los Angeles, we won’t be doing any press conferences, trailers or other standard E3 shenanigans. That means that Frozenbyte is here mostly to take cool photos and make a couple of important meetings. So basically we will be showing you our view of what is going on here, while still focusing on the important releases that are Trine 2 and Splot. 🙂 Keep the comments coming and let’s see what we can get done here this week. -Mikael
Yea, what really is this thing called Trine? Well dictionary.net defines it as something to do with stars aligning and also as a synonym for the Trinity. I personally am more of a fan of the urbandictionary definition, even though it has even less to do with what our game actually is. 🙂 Also TotalBiscuit of Youtube fame has also his own definition in the above video, which is a very nice video to say the least. Enjoy, and there is “more” to come soon. -Mikael
