As the online conversation rages, we needed to voice our opinion as an indie game developer.
It is understandable that SOPA and PIPA mostly effect American citizens, but we have had similar changes in Finland and all over the EU.
We live only by the games that we create.
We understand the issue that is piracy.
But this is no excuse for someone to step in to break our internets.
In a brighter future, we hope to see freedom from censorship everywhere.
And that developers like us can talk directly to their customers for an open conversation and the mutual support that we all need.

Well, there are many ways to do things, but fact is, that if every one does something for it self, you get nothing than a fart.
@3 I’m really confused. Both our video and your link states we are against SOPA, as does the title of this blog.
If there is a way to oppose SOPA more, tell us, and we are in.

Frozenbyte, you guys are awesome. Thank you for being such a great games studio and standing against SOPA.
There will always be people that will pirate everything. They are determined. Screwing up DNS will NOT stop them.
Then there are people like me. Yes, I have pirated games, from old nintendo ROMS to new releases.
But guess what? I’ve bought over 50 games on Steam. I support the video game industry more than most non-pirates. I’ve bought Trine, and I intend to buy Trine 2, because they are quality games that I wish to support in hopes to see more installments. Keep up the goods work!
@12 Supposedly, the DNS provision has been removed. This still does not make SOPA a good bill, however. I fear that PIPA could actually be much, much worse… 🙁
Also… I see Splot in nearly every frame of the video.

Hey, I think your blog might be having browser compatibility issues.
When I look at your blog site in Firefox,
it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping.
