Hey
I really want to know when nine parchments is out on Ps4 in Japan and Taiwan ? I like nine parchments art so much , if you have any information , please let me know , thank you so much
It’s on it’s way, but unfortunately I don’t have a release date for it yet. Sorry for the inconvenience! 🙂
On ps4. It keeps making mine and my girlfriends game public. Also when ever it loads a level or reloads after a death, it puts our names above our heads even with the option of. I have to turn that on and then off every time, and its tedious. Sometimes it will unequip our items after a level load as well.
Sorry about this! There is a fix coming to the games turning public, so that will be fixed and I’ll forward the other issues ahead as well. I can’t unfortunately promise other fixes, but hopefully we can make your experience little better.
Hopefully you can still enjoy the game!
Hi there,
i have a problem in onlinemode on ps4…i can easily join other matches but nobody sees me and i cant do anything in the game. I want to play with a friend online:same thing. When i open a game he cant join, when he does the same thing i can join but he doesnt see me (but he can hurt me if i tell him where i am). When im dead theres no revivecircle and he cannot continue playing when two players are needed. Some time later ill be thrown out to the mainmenu.
Its the second time this problem occurs in a game (the first one was trine 2 we wanted to play together some days ago). We tried several other games where no problems occured to play together.
I tried to reset all the savefiles and also reinstalled the game but it wont change. He can join other games.
Any ideas what i can do about it?
Thanks
This sounds strange, but hopefully I can help!
Firstly, comparing other games doesn’t really help here as most of them don’t use P2P (peer to peer) like Nine Parchments. From articles online we only know that Ubisoft’s For Honor also uses it. We also wouldn’t be surprised if other indie games used it, and P2P also seems to be partly used in Call of Duty and Destiny. Have you played these (kind of) games?
Another issue is that we haven’t had any trouble at our office, but we’ll try to look into this. To help us could you answer the questions below. Please email your answer to us at support[a]frozenbyte[dot]com, and mention that you wrote to us on our blog so we know it’s you.
You could also check from your internet service provider that your connection is well suited and not restricted for PlayStation 4 gaming. For example opening correct ports or enabling UpnP can help.
We’re waiting to hear from you!
These are the issues we have been dealing with.
– PS4 PRO
– 4 players local co-op
Only 1 PSN account, I use it to start the game. When game is started and if I (PSN account holder) resume the game, it starts the game allright, but character is not mine. It’s another family member’s account. So we have to start the game like this:
I start the game, another player (who account is first player) resumes it, so then it’s the first character. then all others must enter the game in that order we did in when we started the game. Why can’t it just remember who plays what character? We need to do this character starting performance at each start. Also if someone else starts the game, it doesn’t allow resume, as game was originally started from my account.
Sometimes when level is complete, game randomly shows another player’s skill tree for skill picking.
On loading screen there are sometimes double lines like 2 x character X, sometimes player icons are missing and sometimes name is empty.
On chimaera fight we wiped 2 times and game crashed and lost our save file, PSN save backup was 2 days old, so we lost 15 levels of progress. Game also has crashed several times on different places.
I hope these issues will be fixed. Is there any release date for PS4 patch?
We’ll need to look into this more and will possibly email you after. Unfortunately there is still no news about a patch, but it’s on the way! However it’s unlikely all of these issues will be addressed.
So we’ll get back to you soon and feel free to tell us if you have other questions. Cheers!
We are having an issue on multiplayer on more than one level we are playing and then all of a sudden it said that there is a software problem and the game had to shut down and it just keeps doing it over and over and over again
This is on PlayStation 4? Also if you’re seeing an error message, please tell exactly what it says.
Note that this can also be because of the connection between players, so we also recommend checking your internet settings. For PlayStation 4, you can also contact your internet service provider and ask them to make your connection suitable for your console.
For more help, please email us at Support[at]Frozenbyte[dot]com. We also recommend mentioning that you commented to our blog.
Cheers!
When playing online, if I host a game and we end up having to quit, there seems to be no way to resume the game with the same person. There is no resume option for the multiplayer and if you resume the game it drops you on single player with no way of adding an online player. Is there something I’m missing?
Sorry for the delay!
You’re probably playing on PlayStation 4? It should be possible to continue playing if both players choose Resume Game from the Main Menu (it should connect to the host), however we’re aware that this doesn’t always work. Sorry for the inconvenience!
We’re however about to submit an update that should help with this by adding the level selection. This update might still take couple weeks to get to you, but it’s definitely on the way!
So I know this is a SUUUPER delayed comment, but is there any ETA on being able to keep private online games private on PS4? I picked up the game to play with my long-distance SO, and every time we try to resume what was initially a private online game, we get trolled by jerks popping in to player-kill us. It’s extremely frustrating. We were having a ton of fun just us, but the trolling when we try to resume is completely killing the experience ;-; Please tell me there’s still a fix incoming for PS4!
Unfortunately it seems that we weren’t aware of the issue, so no plans for a fix. We also haven’t been able to reproduce it which why we don’t know what to do. Sorry for the inconvenience! 🙁
I’m still forwarding this ahead if we could do something, but I don’t think there is high hopes.
Also if you’d like you can still kick out the joining players from the pause menu. Hopefully this helps a little!
This makes me wonder if I explained myself poorly… when I went looking around for help, I saw a lot of posts about the Steam version from last December stating what we observed in the PS4 version: you can start a private, online multiplayer game, but when you go to resume it later, it turns into a public game the second player joins from the public games list and other people can join randomly also. I saw there was a fix patched in for Steam earlier this year, but unless I’m missing something about how exactly to resume these private online games (I just used the Resume button, and then my SO found the game on the public list), PS4 still makes private online games into public ones once you’ve quit and resumed once.
Am I mistaken? Or missing something? It was a known issue on Steam, so I had assumed it was known on PS4 also.
First of all, we are sorry for the super long delay with the answer.
The fix that you mentioned was released on consoles as well but unfortunately it seems that there is still something that can cause this to happen (in Steam also). You should be able to remove unwanted players through the menu as my coworker mentioned. You can also set the friendly fire to reverted so that the trolls only end up killing themselves when they join. We agree that this is not the optimal way to handle this, but we hope it is a possible workaround you could use at the moment.
Sorry again for all the trouble this causes you. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments about this!
