waited ages for this. cant wait
How about mac? Any plans?
Unfortunately not at this moment. Still thanks for your interest!
(Nintendo Switch) The demo seems to be a good game but the gameplay is horrible in the release game.. the friendly fire when we play with 2 players minimum and the locked aim is very bad.. more we have new skills, more the game is hard. Do a patch quickly please, Iām dissapointed š
Sorry to hear that you feel this way!
However we feel that friendly-fire is an important part of the game, so it’s to stay but there is some settings for it in the game’s options. For example you can enable 50/50 mode, where half of the damage is received by the caster. There are also some settings for the auto-aim.
I hope this helped, but still thanks for the feedback and let me know if you still have questions!
This game reserved to have an option “No friendly fire”
There is no straight option for that, but check the in-game Options. š
Will there be updates to the game in the future? Or DLC?
Updates are planned but nothing yet for DLC. Thanks for your interest! š
My wife and I played Nine Parchments last night and came back to it tonight to find that our progress had not been retained. We said whatever and start again, but when we went back to the Main Menu to look at something, our progress had again been lost. Is there any fix for this?
Sorry to hear! Was there no option for Resume Game? Unfortunately there has been few issues like this, but we are looking into it. If you have any other details or want to ask something please email at Support[at]Frozenbyte[dot]com.
I don’t suppose there’s a way to buy a bundle that includes the Switch and PC versions? I’m the primary gamer in my house and would like it on both consoles but cringe at the idea of paying double for basically the same game. My PC isn’t in a good spot to play the game locally (ideal for Switch), and my online co-op buddies are PC gamers and don’t have Switches. In any case playing co-op online on the Switch is far from ideal (frustratingly complicated voice chat). Anyway, if there’s a way to buy both versions in some kind of a bundle that’s a little bit cheaper than buying two distinct versions I’d love to hear about it.
P.S. Put several hours into the demo and looking forward playing the full game.
Thanks for your support! Unfortunately there is no way to make this kind of bundle so hopefully you can choose one.
This game looks interesting for the Nintendo Switch, but I have a few questions:
(1) I read from various reviews and comments on other sites that this game doesn’t save character progression, is this intended? Will this issue be patched, and if so, will there be multiple save files available (e.g. single player file and multiplayer file)?
(2) Regarding multiplayer, is the local/online hybrid multiplayer available, if so, what are the allowable configurations? For example, can I play with my Switch in my house and two friends play from one Switch in theirs (2 Switches, 3 players, connected via online) or another example, can 4 players in 2 houses play together (2-4 Switches, 1-3 players per Switch)?
(3) Is this game cross-platform compatible? For example, can two players on a Switch team up with a PC player (or other mixed configurations)?
Thanks for your interest! Here are some answers. Note that you can email us at Support[at]Frozenbyte[dot]com for more questions. That’s the best way to reach us. š
(1) Character progression is always saved, but unfortunately you’ll have to start the game’s levels from the beginning if you want to switch to online multiplayer from single player and vice versa. However you can still continue your latest save by choosing Resume Game even if you played online, in this case the game checks if the same session is still available or starts to host it.
We are planning to add some kind of level select for your old saves, but no exact plans yet. Unfortunately this update might take as far as January.
(2) This should be possible. You can hot join in the game by pressing the plus button on Switch.
(3) No. There hasn’t been lots of requests for this, but if there are we’ll look into it.
Hello admin !
How to fix error failed to create render target 2048×2048 format 23 ??ļ»æ
Please check the solution mentioned here. If that doesn’t help please email us with your system specifications.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
Will there be a raise to the level cap in the future updates? It would be really nice.
Unfortunately no plans for this at the moment. Normal level cap is 40, but after unlocking the gilded characters it goes up to 60. š
Hi, im very excited with his game, i’ve been playing fir 3 days, and already have the hard difficultly compleat… it is truly an excellent…
Game
But… Today i was playing public multiplayer with a friend, in hardcore, for like 5hrs, and when we where reaching the last stage, a bunch of enemy’s got caught behind a wall… Nothing to be done, me and my friend where stuck forever… we had to kill ourselves and throw to waste those 5 hours.
Please have this kind of bugs fix before releasing the games!!!
Thanks.
We’re very sorry about this, and will try to fix it as soon as possible! š
If it happens again here are couple possible workarounds: close the game and press Resume Game to start the game from the last checkpoint or lower the difficulty.
Also stay tuned for updates!
How about the dang OP as hell jumpy frosty birds… Why so much leap/damage/stun. Too much. Friendly fire would be better if it didn’t jump from one target to a friendly fire for no reason.
Frustrated and won’t be playing again for a while.
Sorry you had trouble with this enemy! The jumping attacks can be dodged by jumping or blinking. Please also note that the jumping animation is fairly long. I can’t promise any updates yet but we’re considering to add an easier difficulty if that helps. Still your feedback has been noted and thanks for it!
We also hope you can still enjoy the game later. š
Hi,
My wife and I bought this game to play together on the Nintendo Switch. We only have one set of Joy-Cons. So, we’re playing with them split. Seems like the game is supposed to support that feature, but we can’t for the life of us figure out how to “blink”. The game prompts us to use the “y button”, but I’m pretty sure that only applies when each person has their own set of Joy-Cons since the direction buttons only seem to change the direction the player is facing. Is the blinking ability not available with split Joy-Con play?
Thanks!
We figured it out! For anyone else having trouble figuring this out, you press the right and left bumper simultaneously to “blink.”
Glad to hear you figured it out, and thanks for sharing the answer! š
I’ll also elaborate that you have to first press the left upper button and then hit the other button while the left one is still being pushed. Hopefully this helps someone!
This still didnt work for my cousin an I. We actually had to press the two bumpers AND the trigger. Will this ever get fixed to be easier or could there be a button configuration options?
There should be no need to press the trigger, pressing the bumpers should be enough. Could you tell me if you’re using the extra piece you can connect to the Joy-Con the make the buttons more easily pressable?
At the moment we don’t have plans to add the possibility to configure the buttons. This has been added to our request list, so we might take a look of this after we get everything else fixed.
Sorry for the trouble this is causing you!
My fiance and I love this game. We have made it to the 2nd last level twice now from the beginning on hard mode, and are not able to pass it! On the 3rd battle after the switch that makes the axes swing across the bridge, we beat all the enemies, get our health restored, but am not able to progress up the stairs to continue!!
We are extremely frustrated at this point unfirtunately. What can you do to help with this?
Sorry about this! The issues in that map will be fixed in the upcoming patch.
In the meantime, here are some workarounds you can try:
Unfortunately there’s nothing more you can do until the patch is released, but hopefully these will help you continue past the broken battles. I’m sorry for the inconvenience.
We have also died purposely and retried the battle several times with no luck.
On normal mode, the 2nd battle after the switch sometimes only 2 red guys would pop up instead of 3, causing us not to be able to pass that portion either! That happened 3 out of 4 attempts. We beat normal mode twice now, but hard mode we cant get passed because of the aformentioned glitch.
Hey! So something absolutely terrible happened during a game tonight. After having almost everyone and everything unlocked, my entire unlock history was reset. This has happened to my friend too and honestly, this is a deal breaker. 100s of hours are lost with no chance of recovery. I am now paranoid to even try to recover everything for fear of this happening again. I can look past some of the bugs here and there, but this is absolutely heartbreaking. I have been recruiting friends to buy and play this game with me. However, now I will be warning people before they purchase instead of encouraging.
Sorry to hear that you ran into this bug! Could you tell me if you were playing the game on Nintendo Switch or PC?
This is absolutely a game breaker. I just experienced this as well. After putting countless hours into this game I am so upset that something like this could occur. It’s one things for monsters to glitch out but my entire game save of all the things I’ve unlocked like characters, staves, level progression and hats. It’s as if I was playing the game for the first time again. This is something that should have been found while QA testing. As someone who has spent their time and money on your game I am extremely upset. This happened on my Nintendo switch and there are a bunch of posts on fourms of people running into this issue also. This should be your number one priority.
I answered your email, but I’ll leave a comment as well.
We should have caught the save issue during the QA testing phase, but unfortunately it seems that this didn’t happen even once during our internal testing before the release. Even after all the reports we haven’t been able to reproduce some of the scenarios people have reported to us. We have already done a bunch of fixes to the next patch, and we continue to look into this when we receive new reports.
We are sorry for all the trouble this bug have caused you.
I played this game on Nintendo Switch at a friends house. Really wanting to play it again and own it. Any update when it will come out on Xbox One? Really loved the game!
Unfortunately no news yet. We’re still working on the port and hopefully can get it out soon!
