Zoya and Pontius had enough of Amadeus and his ability to get constantly in trouble. This is why they decided to leave Amadeus behind and take a trip to the Cloudy Isles. Cloudy Isles is lovely during this time of the year!
Their adventure probably ended in a big fight, as these two really do not get along when Amadeus isn’t there to unite them. 😀

Characters like these are always trying to prove themselves to somebody. Without Amadeus, it deteriorates to a contest of one-upmanship.
