We have updated Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power to version 1.11. This is mostly a bug fix update following the previous update that added some content and other important features, but improves “The Quest for Cake” level also, and stabilizes the SteamOS, Linux, and Mac versions a bit. Changelog below and also available in the game’s files.

Hi guys!I just want to know if there will be a major update for trine 3 (6-10 levels more)and if the story continious from the klifhanger ending of trine 3.Plz we want the sequel(my english sucks).
Hallo liebes frozenbyte Team ich wollte euch mal loben auch wenn sich hier viele Leute beschweren ich liebe die Trine Serie über alles und freue mich immer sehr darüber wenn ein neuer Teil kommt ich hoffe das ihr noch mehr Trine spiele liefert und hoffe auch sehr das ihr das ganze nicht sterben lässt. Was ich euch auch mal sagen wollte ich hätte auch kein Problem für ein Trine spiel 50-60€ zu bezahlen wenn der Umfang des Spiels größer wäre also längere Spielzeit ich liebe dieses Spiel einfach nur es sieht richtig gut aus außerdem finde ich es auch gut wie ihr das mit dem2D, 3D gelöst habt aber ihr hättet das auch nicht machen müssen mit dem 3D ich wäre auch weiterhin mit dem 2D leveldesign zufrieden gewesen also macht bitte bitte weiter so danke ihr lieben
Hi guys, I’ve encountered a problem where I can’t start the quest for cake: pressing x does not begin the level, and shifting from the first chapter to later ones which are counted (remembers that I’ve been on these sections and collected trineangles) as completed will not then allow me to return to the first point without backing out and re-entering.
Do you happen to have a fix for this, or a patch in the works?

You’re probably playing the game on PlayStation 4? Is this problem still occurring? If it is, please check that you have enough experience to start The Quest for Cake level. It also sounds like there could be something wrong with your Save Slot, so you could try to select another one through the game’s Settings.
Unfortunately if the problem is with your save, there is no other way to recover it than starting a new game. You can still try to change the Save Slot back to the one you were using earlier and reinstalling the game, but it’s hard to say if that will help.
If the problem persists, please also specify which levels you tried and maybe take pictures of what’s not working correctly. Please also verify your platform and how far you have gotten in the game.
