Trine 2 is now officially released for the Nintendo Wii U in Japan, and is available through the Japanese Wii U eShop as a digital download.
TRINE 2 三つの力と不可思議の – or Trine 2: Mittsu no Chikara to Fukashigi no Mori is priced at ¥1,800.
You can check out the official site at:

The Japanese version is the same as Trine 2: Director’s Cut content-wise, but the game has been fully localized (Voices and text) and it sounds very cool in Japanese!

One comment on “Trine 2 for Wii U out in Japan!”
Dear Frozenbyte,
Thank you for releasing Trine 2 on the Japanese Wii U, I picked one up a couple of years ago and having played Trine 2 on the PS3, I was dying to see it on the Wii U as the American and European players seemed to rate it highly. After playing it for a solid couple of hours, I can see why as the Wii U Pad is perfect for Amadeus and coupled with the graphics and the excellent choice of Japanese voice actors, in particular the old lady narrator, I’m very happy and can’t wait to get my mates around to help me.
Fantastic version of an excellent game so thank you once again.
Cheerio,
Martin
