I went to see Ari Pulkkinen at his office to talk about Trine 2 nominations at the upcoming European Games Award.
He was very excited about the “Best Sound” nomination, and as usual wanted to show me some of his work.

Ok, so Battlefield 3 and The Witcher 2 have lots of fans. Well, they have more fans, but you have better fans… that’s all I can say. Everyone I give a listen of Shadowgrounds’ OST is completely blown away. Then I follow up with Trine 1 OST, and now Trine 2 OST drives it home. Lastly, they ask “who the hell is that band??” and I say “Band? It’s one dude from Finland, you know, the one who made all the Angry Birds music.” BOOM. Heads explode every time.
