Really nice! I’d love to see something more about the work progress. You touched around it a bit (something about one person doing models and so on), however how exactly do you do that? I would really like to know, hope to see that in the next one! 😀
It’s great your doing this, commentary was a little rough (you’lll get better after a few videos). Wolfire is really awesome at doing this – telling people what are they up to.
I’d love to see more of art assets, animations, rigging, modelling, game features and other technical stuff. I think it’s great for you too – hype & feedback can’t do much harm 😉
It’d be cool if you could at the end of the video put the model in the game engine and interact with it with an actor, but I guess it’s not always possible.
The sewer aquaduct looks great btw (but isn’t that too much poly for a small background item?)
Great!
Another indie-dev-blog with making-of’s.
I love it 😀
Keep up!
Awesome!
Great to see making-of videos from a Finnish company. Not too many out there currently! Looking forward to see more!
Wow, I love how it all seems so low res and basic at the beginning and then when it all comes together is suddenly becomes something very professional in an instant just by joining a few of them together. Thankyou very much for the video. I develop software for a living but I do wish I had more in the way of visual art skills. Keep up the awesomeness for Trine 2; it’s already on my ToDo list of games to buy for the year. This just cements it.
Making a sewer level? You’re getting cocky Frozenbyte. I like that.
Interesting video. I think it would be great to see some progress that you do during game development (e.g. transition from art assets onto actual game objects). Also such videos could be a great way of describing the new features of the games (e.g. new graphical and sound effects) by emphasizing the viewer’s attention on a certain aspect of the game process.
I’d love to see how you put the sound and music together in the game 🙂
