Saitek P990 Gamepad

I have tried every available option through your troubleshooting and user recommended key bindings and nothing works right. If I copy other user settings to my bindings then I have rudder/throttle reversed and missing buttons. If I copy them and then try to customize other buttons it resets everything back to original problem. Which is:
I have no aim function with my Saitek P990 gamepad no matter how I set the buttons or gamepad. What should be aim (right analog stick) does nothing except if I push to the right it fires my weapon. The game recognizes my pad in controller settings and lets me configure all the other buttons okay. And yes, Windows 7 recognizes my pad in devices and all buttons and analog/digital movements work fine. I can set the pad through profiling to work as mouse & keyboard buttons and that works but I want to play with friends.

Sorry to hear about the problem. Have you double-checked the last Page on the configuration screen, i.e. this:

You can also go to binds\joystick\1\ (note 0 is for default, unchangeable binds) and edit keybinds.txt, and see what it says for

joystick_x_axis = axis_rx
joystick_y_axis = axis_ry

These are the ones that control the right thumbstick.
