More revelations!
I like Splot for many reasons, but one is its visual look,
that is, in my opinion, quite simple in a good way.
I was happy when I heard about one detail. In the game you can choose the colour of the character at least from blue, pink, green, yellow, and purple (blue and pink included at launch). I have heard that different characters will have some special abilities, too.
There will also be special characters for example around Halloween. In the picture you can see Mummy Splot, who can protect himself from enemies, Green Monster Splot, who can swim through acid, and Spiky Splot, who can grab walls.
Some of these will be unlockable in the game, some added later for free and some as in app purchases. On top of the abilities most of them will have access to special areas and some other unique content.
What character would you choose?
-Susie

I like the pink with lipstick and eyelash.

Robot splot that would have the ability to drill through some walls … oh wait, it’s not there

Andrej: such a good idea – but maybe the game would become too easy with that kind of Super Splot?

I like the original character design (amongst others the teal one is the best so far). But the idea of introducing new designs to a single shape pattern looks really interesting. For instance, at a certain point there could be a super-secret undercover agent 000 S.Plot (Plot, Super Plot), who would be able to dodge/destroy certain enemies. The one-eye shades on him would look cool, no doubt. There could also be a character with an afro style haircut and a guitar – Jimi Splotix. He could enchant some living opponents to fight for him by playing electric guitar, perhaps? His guitar would be an electric six-string “Splotter” of course. Or could there be a real bad guy – a bandit called El Splotto – wearing a sombrero and doing all sorts of evil things against our friendly main hero? A red Splot with horns and a fork, a blue Splot with a numb wearing a white robe. A guest from the past in a Roman toga and wearing a laurel chaplet (you already know his name is Splotus, don’t you?). A Rennaisance character named Sp.L’eaut from France wearing a XVII century wig. I mean, the concept looks really nice and could be quite interesting to expand and explore. I like it. Good luck to the developers.

@Susie: you are correct. But, the game might not be so easy if:
1. the robot can’t jump or stick to walls
2. he can use the jetpack and the drill to move along
3. he can drill only through limited walls
4. fuel/energy is limited and shared between the jetpack/drill
5. because the fuel/energy are consumed very quickly, they must be regenerated or the robot stops (game over) – here is the part where the fairy comes in: instead of picking up blocks it picks up fuel/energy cells and transfers them to the robot
However: I do understand this would require to completely change the gameplay/levels and would require a lot of testing. I’m not sure if a addition of such character is worth all this time.
BTW: Can’t wait to play the game. With RoboSplot or not
