It is going to be top notch though.
We prefer to steer away from the “DLC” concept.
So many negative associations with that these days.
And rightfully, we think that the pack we are making, deserves to be called a true expansion rather than just added content.
Boasting a new story with 6 unique levels, added enemies and skills.
A new hardcore mode, some bonus menu options and did I mention that the new skills can also be used in the original campaign?
So yea, lots of stuff.
The video above is just a small environment teaser and we will be releasing new details up until this here “Super Hyper Extended (AAAA) Edition of Trine 2″ is released.

Looks really beautiful (just like the rest of Trine 2).
Spring is emerging + Trine2 release for Linux soon + other pleasant things in life = happyness.
Ok that was the rather simplified formula for happiness xD.

The expansion price will be announced later. It’ll be available on Steam and afterwards on other services as well, and we will support Desura too (might not always happen at release but later on). About retail I don’t know, perhaps some new special edition that includes both… We’ll see.

Huge fan here, and I know this question might’ve popped out a lot, but I really am curious and can’t find it (or to lazy to properly search), when are you aiming to release this must have expansion?
