The long wait is over and the release info is finally here.
Trine 2 will be released for PC and Mac on December 7th and the console versions on the 21st of December (XBLA worldwide and North American PSN; European PSN is TBD, hopefully we’ll have final info soon!). Linux to follow in 2012.
So there you go, two more days until PC and Mac, plus another two weeks for the consoles.

I’ve been awaiting this game since the moment I finished the first one on PS3! =D
So glad to have a release date! Perfect game for the Christmas break!
So i have waited, this week is gonna be epic! Trine is a masterpiece.
I added a quick correction on the European PSN – it’s not yet confirmed. Hopefully it won’t be too far off, it might still make the same date… More news as we have it. And glad to hear guys. 🙂

When I saw the Trine 2 beta, I was amazed… a game that looks even more amazing than Trine. The atmospherics are just stunning.. makes me want to live in the Trine world. And cheaper too… you guys are awesome!!

It has been over a year since I finished the first Trine and finally the sequel is just behind the door! I’ve pre-ordered and after trying out the beta I must say that you guys (@Frozenbyte) have done an amazing job. The fantastic soundtrack of Ari Pulkkinen plays also a very important role.
Me and my girlfriend waited for this for sooo long. We loved Trine and the DLC, and now we’ll surely get the second one.

When will be released the PC (retail) Version of the Collector’s Edition in Germany? According to amazon, it will be released on the 9th. What’s true – the 7th or the 9th?
Yes, what’s true??? PC release date in Europe? 7th or the 9th ??? I can’t wait anymoore :))
Most retailers are aiming for the 7th, but I think at least in the UK the retail version is coming on the 9th.
