Today is the day! Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power has been officially released for Windows, meaning the Early Access period has come to an end. Check out the launch trailer below. 🙂
Like the previous Trine games, Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power supports both online and local co-op for up to three people – so don’t forget to share the news with your friends so that you can play together! The game has been simultaneously released on Steam, GOG.com and Humble Store.
Today’s release is for Windows only, but we hope to release both Mac and Linux versions later this year. We’ll announce news about console versions at a later date.
The game is priced $21.99 / 21.99 € / £15.99. A 10% launch discount is applied for the first week. 🙂
The Trinelogy and Frozenbyte Collection 2015 Game Packages are also on -40% sale on Steam for a while, so if you don’t have the previous Trine games yet, you might want to take a look. You can find both Packages from the Steam Store Page for Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power. Alternatively, you can just purchase Trine Enchanted Edition and Trine 2: Complete Story separately for 85% off.

Are you going to make part 2 because from what i saw the story hasnt end yet.Well PRETY NICE JOB.The resaults are amazing.And i have a new laptop and i can play all the trine games.Im looking forward for the next one.You are the best developers and your games are worth to play.NICE JOB!!!!!!!!! 🙂

Ok guys.I saw a lot of comments at the steam and i played it to.But even if it has many new things from the other trine games.i was dissapointed.First of all,it was kind of short(even i hope they will add more levels at dlc)so i would like 6 or 7 more levels.And to play the main game,we need to get trineagles so you are forced to play chalenge levels.And the most annoying thing for me:no new weapons and new skills.The 2 first games have plenty of abilities.But at the 3d game we didint saw any new abilities.The knight didnt get storm hammer(basic weapon and usefull to puzzles)or fire sword or even throwing objects like trine 1.Zoya didnt get frost,fire or low-gravitee arrow,neither the invinsable ability.And amadaus didnt get any planks,floating objects and he can conjour only object .I would like to discover these abilities from chests,skill trees or have them from teh beggiging of the game,but they would me more skills and it would give you the ability to make new puzzles.I know the controlls of the skills would be difficult(esspecially the plank)but we all expected these skills.I hope the add theese thinks at the dlc because many people wanted them(check the steam comments).And i would like a bit more combat.In the other hand,Trine 3 give as a 3d world,new soundtrack and many new things and you did great job.I just think that it needs more things from the other games(skill tree and new weapons).Im a fan of the trine series but i think trine 3 needs more.
But it still is a nice game.

Besides the unexpected end I did like the game very much, although you’ve removed some features of the previous parts.
